Legal entities with foreign capital
Foreign investors (legal entities and individuals), wishing to expand their business, promote goods, services and defend their rights, can conduct business in Russia in different forms, in accordance to the rules stipulated in current legislation.

Foreign legal entities can establish their representative
offices and branches
as well as their regional offices on the territory of the Russian
Federation.

Foreign
nationals and foreign legal entities can act as investors-founders
in
Russian for-profit and non-for-profit organizations.

Another form of investor presence in the market is a Production Sharing
Agreement, where one of the parties is the Russian Federation
represented by the RF Government and an executive body.

Foreign
organizations can also become party to a Joint Activity Agreement
(Simple Partnership) where the other party is a Russian legal
entity.

Furthermore,
foreign and international organizations are entitled to open accounts
on the territory of the Russian Federation, buy real estate and motor
vehicles, in which case they are to
register with the tax authorities.
